Sustainability

Our batch model + bicycle last‑mile reduces CO₂ per order by roughly three‑quarters compared to typical grocery delivery (independently calculated). We offset remaining emissions via local tree planting.

Carbon-neutral delivery (last mile by bicycle). Every Farm2Fridge order travels the final kilometre by bicycle — zero tailpipe emissions, no idling delivery trucks, and quieter neighbourhood streets. Combined with our consolidated batch routes, this last-mile model keeps our per-order carbon footprint radically lower than conventional grocery delivery.

Packaging

Minimised plastic: compostable cellulose for loose greens, recycled pulp egg cartons, returnable cooler bags with the driver, and returnable glass for honey & oil where offered.

Farmers & waste

Pre‑orders and shared forecasts mean growers harvest closer to demand — less rotting stock and fairer cash flow (48‑hour payment commitment).
