Our batch-delivery model
Farm2Fridge runs on a batch-delivery model — we combine neighbourhood orders into optimised batch routes, bringing hyperlocal drop-offs to each zone in a single run. This means fewer trips, less fuel, and lower costs that we pass back to you and our farmers.
Every route is planned from our packing hub using exact demand forecasts from your pre-orders. By knowing precisely what each neighbourhood needs by 7 PM cut-off, we minimise kilometres driven while maximising freshness.

Spaza collection pilots
In suburbs where door-to-door density is thin (parts of Soweto, Tembisa, etc.), we are designing partnerships with trusted corner spaza shops — consolidated drops, small commission to the owner (~R5/parcel), and free pickup for you. Voice WhatsApp updates optional — farmers might drop a 15-second note when your bag lands.
What if I'm not home?
Leave a cooler box at your gate or nominate an authorised neighbour until spaza pilots roll street-by-street.
